National Institute of Siddha (NIS) - an autonomous body under department of Ayush) under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. NIS Chennai issued employment notification for recruitment of Professor on Deputation/contract basis.

For Deputation Basis:
Scale of Pay - Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- +NPA. 
Age Limit - 56 Years as on 12.11.2013 
Qualification - PG qualification in Siddha in the concerned subject recognized by the CCIM. 5 Years regular service in the Pay Scale of 15600-39100+7600 OR its equivalent as Reader /Associate Professor OR incumbent is holding analogous post in the Same Pay Scale.
For Contractual Basis:
Consolidated Pay - Rs.55,000/- p.m. 
Age Limit - 64 years as on 12.11.2013. 
Qualification - Faculty members who already worked as Professor in the Departments concerned in PG education: OR i) PG qualification in Siddha in the concerned subject recognized by CCIM ii) 7 years as Reader (Associate Professor) in PG teaching in the concerned subject or 12 yrs combined experience in PG teaching in the subject concerned (as Reader /Associate Professor/Asst. Professor) and Research and Admn.
Application Fee: Rs.100/-. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee.
How To Apply: The filled in Prescribed form of application, complete in all respects should be submitted to The Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai - 600 047 with self attested photocopies of the certificates in support of age proof, educational qualification and experience etc. The last date for receipt of application is 12/11/2013 by 5.00 PM.
