IBPS Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2013| for CWE Phase 3 PO/MT Exam.

In this exam there will be 5 papers that have to faced by all applicants. Total marks of test will be 200 and question will be from 5 subjects like reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and Computer Knowledge. The duration for the exam is of 2 hours.

Negative Marks: If anyone place wrong answer then he/she will be penalized 0.25 marks from total obtained marks but if you put that question unanswered then no penalty will be issued.

Minimum Cut Off Marks: Minimum cut off marks as per category wise will be as describe below.

§                      General – 24 Marks

§                      Reserved Category – 21 Marks

Interview: After getting your name in short-listed candidates in merit list then you can apply for PO recruitment as per your preference where you have to attend Interview which will be of 100 Marks. In order to qualify you need to grab at-least 40% Marks. The weightage ratio of CWE Exam and interview should be 80:20.

IBPS PO Exam Syllabus 2013-2014 :

English Language : In this paper there will be questions filtered out from vocabulary, comprehension, general usage, grammar, and error detection.

(i) Vocabulary – Antonyms/synonyms/completion all sentence.

(ii) Comprehension – theme detection/completion passage/find the conclusion.

(iii) Grammar – indirect direct speech/active passive voice.

(iv) Error detection – passage/sentence/spelling correction.

Logical Reasoning: second subject is Logical reasoning which has two types, verbal and non-verbal.

(i) Verbal Reasoning – Blood relation/sitting arrangement/judgement/statement/coding decoding/making series and syllogism.

(ii) Non-verbal – Series/analogy and classification.

Quantitative Aptitude : Quantitative aptitude covers game of numbers and calculation like add or minus or multiple or average or roots or percentage or profit & loss or ratio or time & distance or stock & shares or area. you alsoi have to cover Data interpretation, it is one of the parts of quantitative aptitude, questions will be in this tabulation/graphs like bar/line and charts.

General Awareness : In this paper you have face questions related with current affairs of the country such as sports/constitution/technique/economics/science/politics/culture and banking.

Computer Knowledge : This subject is divided in two parts, 1. Hardware 2. Software

(i) Hardware – Body parts of computer like monitor/printer/mouse/keyboard/C.P.U and, etc.

(ii) Software – Application like Ms office/paint/coral draw and, etc.
