Age Limit: 35 Years for above posts as on the date of 01.07.2013. Relaxation in upper age limit to ST/ SC/OBC and women candidates will be provided as per C.G. Govt. Rules.

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Professor - Master Degree in relevant subject of Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering/Veterinary faculty with at least 55% marks (or its equivalent grade 6.50 in 10.00 scales) with good academic record. For the candidates having Master's degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted.

Technical Assistant - Master's degree in relevant subjects of Agriculture with at least 55% marks or 2.75/4.00 OCGA or 6.50/10.00 OGPA from any recognized University.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- for UR and OBC categories and Rs.250/-for ST&SC categories (subject to production of attested copy of the S.T./S.C. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of the State of Chhattisgarh) in shape of Bank Draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of "Registrar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur" payable at Raipur within due date.
