Indian Council of Agricultural Research has released ICAI NET
Notification 2013 for National Eligibility Test and inviting online application
form on main portal site of Agriculture Scientists Recruitment Board at
asrb.org.in.
ICAR has announced that it is going to take National Eligibility
Test (NET) which is taken under the guidelines of Agriculture Scientist
Recruitment Board (ASRB). All the activities of this exam will done under ASRB.
After qualifying this examination one will be eligible for the Lecturer/
Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities
and other Agricultural
Universities
So this is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make
their career in Lecturer field. All the eligible candidates can apply online
for this examination from the official site of ASRB. All the necessary
eligibility criteria are given below, so go through that and then apply.

Age limit:
ü Applicant’s minimum
age should be 21 years as on 01/08/2013 and there is no upper age limit.
ü
Application fee:
ü General candidates are
required to pay Rs. 1000/- OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/
ST/ PC candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-
ü
Educational qualification:
ü Candidate should have
Masters degree in related discipline or equivalent from any recognized
university or institute.
ü
Minimum qualifying marks:
ü For General/ OBC (Creamy
layer) candidates it will be 55%, for OBC (Non Creamy layer) candidates it will
be 50% and SC/ ST/ PC candidates it will be 45%
ü
